What makes the jewelry permanent?

Permanent jewelry is a bracelet, necklace, ring or anklet that is welded together with an arc micro welder. There is no clasp, because the ends are “zapped” back together. However, at Moon Rise, a clasp can be added in at anytime to ensure you can have your piece in your collection forever.

Why solid 14kt gold and solid 925 sterling silver?

Solid 14k yellow gold and 925 sterling silver are the only two materials we use to craft pieces built to last a lifetime. Solid 14k yellow gold provides unbeatable resistance to wear and tear while remaining hypoallergenic. Unlike gold-plated jewelry prone to tarnishing, our solid 14k gold will never lose its luster. How can I take it off?

Wire cutters or sharp scissors. If you are not sure where to cut in order to preserve the link to be seamlessly re-welded, please contact us and we are more than happy to walk you though it!

Does it hurt?

Not at all!During the welding process, there is a brief flash of light and a puff of air. We are highly skilled, and take a lot of care in keeping you safe!
